The financial assistance is being provided by the Government to the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) running educational and technical training centres for the tribal women under (i) scheme of “Strengthening Education among Scheduled Tribe Girls in Low Literacy Districts” (ii) Grants-in-aid to voluntary organizations working for the welfare of scheduled tribes and (iii) Scheme of Vocational Training Centre in tribal areas including North-Eastern States.
